Last updated: May 31, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of PeerView. By creating an account, accessing PeerView, or using any PeerView feature, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use PeerView.

2. Who can use PeerView

You must be at least 13 years old to use PeerView. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use PeerView only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for making sure your use of PeerView is allowed under the laws and rules that apply to you, including any school, employer, internship, or platform rules.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for your account, your login credentials, and all activity that happens under your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and keep it updated.

  • Do not share your password, session, or access token with anyone.
  • Do not create accounts using false, misleading, or unauthorized information.
  • Tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

4. What PeerView provides

PeerView provides tools for tracking job applications, organizing application stages, setting goals, viewing your profile and activity, and exploring aggregated hiring movement through Lens.

PeerView is not an employer, recruiter, job board, staffing agency, background-check company, or professional career advisor. PeerView does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, admissions, compensation, or any job-search outcome.

5. Your content and application data

You may add information to PeerView, including application records, companies, roles, stages, dates, notes, goals, profile information, and other job-search data. You keep ownership of the information you submit, but you give PeerView permission to host, store, display, process, and use that information as needed to operate and improve the service.

You are responsible for the information you add. Do not submit information that is illegal, misleading, malicious, or that violates another person's rights. Do not upload or store sensitive information that you do not need for your job search.

6. Public and profile information

PeerView may allow you to create a profile or show certain account activity. You are responsible for what you choose to make visible. Do not add personal information to your profile that you do not want others to see if public profile features are enabled.

PeerView currently does not provide direct user-to-user messaging, chat, or resume review features. If those features are added later, these Terms and the Privacy Policy should be updated before those features launch.

7. Lens insights and data accuracy

Lens may show aggregated PeerView-tracked application outcomes, such as how applications for a company or role move through stages like assessment, interview, offer, rejection, or withdrawal.

Lens insights are based on user-submitted data and may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, biased, or unavailable. Lens does not show official hiring rates, official employer statistics, or guaranteed probabilities. Do not treat Lens as professional, financial, legal, or career advice.

8. Prohibited uses

You agree not to misuse PeerView. You may not:

  • Access, scrape, crawl, copy, or harvest PeerView data without permission.
  • Bypass rate limits, authentication, security controls, or access restrictions.
  • Reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, attack, or interfere with PeerView systems.
  • Use PeerView to send spam, scams, malware, phishing, or deceptive communications.
  • Use PeerView to violate laws, infringe rights, or harm another person.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scripts in a way that harms the service or other users.

9. PeerView software, website, and branding

PeerView's website, application design, original code, interface, graphics, and content are protected by applicable intellectual property laws to the extent they are original to us. These Terms do not give you permission to copy, resell, or misuse the PeerView application or website.

Buying and operating the PeerView domain does not necessarily mean the name is a registered trademark. We do not claim ownership over third-party names, logos, companies, employers, services, libraries, or platforms referenced in the product. All third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.

10. Third-party services and links

PeerView may rely on third-party services for hosting, authentication, database storage, file storage, email delivery, analytics, security, or other infrastructure. PeerView may also link to external websites or services.

We are not responsible for third-party websites, services, content, policies, outages, or actions. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

11. Changes, availability, and beta features

We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue any part of PeerView at any time. Features may be experimental, incomplete, or unavailable. We may also update these Terms when the product changes or when legal requirements change.

If we make material changes to these Terms, we will provide reasonable notice. Continued use of PeerView after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to PeerView if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for PeerView or other users, abused the service, or used PeerView in a harmful or unlawful way.

You may stop using PeerView at any time. Account deletion and data handling are described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Disclaimers

PeerView is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not guarantee that PeerView will be secure, available, accurate, complete, or free from bugs, data loss, outages, unauthorized access, or other issues.

14. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, PeerView and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost opportunities, reputational harm, job-search outcomes, or employment decisions arising from your use of PeerView.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to PeerView will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use PeerView in the 12 months before the claim or $100.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PeerView and its operators from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your misuse of PeerView, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us first and try to resolve the issue informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, the courts located in California will have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires a different forum.
